In 2008, after a long history working with other creative endeavours including starting a casting agency and a web agency, Søren Rose acted on a life long dream and founded his own design company. The first design launched was The Milk Table for the brand Holmris, which was nicknamed ‘the Lamborghini of desks’. Despite this lofty comparison, the Søren Rose brand takes as its foundation a focus on using high quality and sustainable materials to create modern designs that are clever and unpretentious. Its focus is on residential living and designing spaces and furniture with the sought-after modern Scandinavian edge.
Today Søren Rose is an international Scandinavian design company with branches in Copenhagen and New York. Designs are manufactured with some of the most recognizable names in the design world including Menu, Muuto, Mater, and De La Espada.
