Oak Publishing is looking for a highly skilled and team oriented editor, who loves to write engaging and inspiring stories, and is dedicated with a love for print. You will be part of the editorial team at Oak Publishing, building and leading new and existing publishing projects and related print material. You will be capable of building strong relationships and share the core values of the editorial team while helping to grow readership.

General Functions:

· Editorial management, concept and content development

· Brief, commission and manage freelance writers

· Manage and maintain editorial plans, schedules, production and budgets

· Write and edit material for publishing projects

· Organise and research projects to tight deadlines

· Edit and improve stories or pieces

Skills and Qualifications:

· Min. 4 years of professional experience working within an editorial team in a print field

· Strong writing portfolio and a great sense for strong, innovative stories

· You have to be team oriented and motivated to cultivate a network of talent and ideas

· Excellent writing skills in English

· BA degree in Journalism or a related field
